Chauffeur Position Summary:
Transfers clients by driving; and maintaining a limousine.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares vehicle by conducting operator maintenance checks, cleaning interior and exterior, arranging for maintenance, reporting operating problems
  • Plans routes and requirements by studying schedule or special requests
  • Determines occupant and luggage requirements
  • Checks road conditions
  • Estimates travel times
  • Arranges temporary and long-term parking
  • Helps clients in and out of vehicle
  • Loads and unloads luggage
  • Safely operates the vehicle
  • Maintains clients confidence by keeping information confidential
  • Documents actions and maintains travel logs and maintenance records
  • Notifies manager immediately after an accident or any damage to the vehicle
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in education opportunities
  • Maintains and effectively communicates trip billing charges

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • None

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 25 years or older for insurance purposes.
  • Favorable driving record as per Insurance Industry Standards
  • Dependable
  • Proficient at safety management
  • Enthusiastic
  • Excellent customer Service skills
  • Excellent map reading skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, trip instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of organization using clear and concise English
