Empire Launches Los Angeles Operation

EmpireCLS Worldwide Chauffeured Services, a world leader in the chauffeur-driven transportation industry and "a concierge on wheels," according to Limousine Chauffeured Transportation magazine (LCT), just completed the next phase of its aggressive expansion effort. The Norwood, NJ-based company opened its second satellite office on August 15, 2001 this time in Los Angeles, CA. Serving clients in 450 cities worldwide through its affiliate network, EmpireCLS now has bases of operation on both coasts, and in Atlanta, GA.
According to David Seelinger, President of EmpireCLS Worldwide Chauffeured Services, "The new LA office is part of a strategic business plan that will allow EmpireCLS to service the needs of corporate clients and clients of the entertainment industry."
Running the LA operation will be Robert Partovi, Executive Vice President, West Coast and Felix Torres, Director of Operations, West Coast both of whom share Mr. Seelinger's vision for the future. "This is a great opportunity for us," notes Torres. "I gave serious consideration to joining EmpireCLS when I discovered they were named the most technologically advanced ground transportation company in the world."
Together, Partovi and Torres have a combined industry experience of 15 years. "Felix and Robert have a vast background working with the entertainment industry on a global basis," comments Seelinger. "Special events are our forte," adds Partovi, "Felix and I have several years of experience providing ground transportation services to notable events such as the Oscars, Grammies, Golden Globes, and for MTV Networks."
Southern California is considered the hub of the entertainment industry, but the region is also home to a large corporate market. "Los Angeles is key to our success, not only on the West Coast, but nationally as well," explains Seelinger. "EmpireCLS will continue to evolve to meet the needs of our clients."
