industry rolled out its new and enhanced web-booking tool on June 15, 2003.
This new feature allows customers to save repetitive trips, enabling the system
to pre-populate certain portions of the reservation process thus reducing the
time needed to confirm a reservation.
According to David Seelinger, President of EmpireCLS Worldwide Chauffeured Services, “This
enhancement allows our customers to complete a web booking in less than 2 minutes.
This new feature has been in place for less than 2 weeks and we have gotten
numerous comments from our clients on the ease of booking reservations.” Mr.
Seelinger added, “ We re-tooled our web site in early 2003 to reflect
all the recent changes made in our corporate logo and to improve navigation
on the site. We also reduced the time and keystrokes to obtain quotes for service
in any of the over 550 cities we serve.”
Developed by Paragon, EmpireCLS’s wholly owned technology company, the
new web site has numerous other improvements. Jeff Thorsen, President of Paragon,
said, “We added several features to improve accessibility and productivity
for executive assistants handling multiple travelers. The Corporate section
now allows an E.A. access to multiple profiles without changing passwords.
Travelers and assistants can also obtain receipts on the web site through three
different mediums; fax, E-mail or on-screen display. We are always exploring
new ideas and technological advances that will improve the features and services
of our web site.”
