and Ugly Betty start, Los Angeles (September 13, 2007) – EmpireCLS will chauffeur Ryan Seacrest in a Lexus LS 600h L Hybrid sedan to host the 59th Annual Emmy Award Show Sunday night, September 16, 2007, at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The vehicle is not yet available in the U.S., but EmpireCLS Chairman and CEO, David Seelinger, wanted to do something special for Ryan Seacrest and was able to help procure it for the evening. “Ryan is the consummate professional,” said Seelinger. “It is clearly evident from the many shows we see him host that he is one of a kind. We wanted to give him a vehicle that stands out.” The Seacrest LS 600h L will be black on black with executive seating. As the world’s first hybrid flagship sedan, the 2008 Lexus LS 600h L employs a V8 engine, an electronically controlled transmission, and a regenerative braking system, allowing the luxury hybrid to boast nearly 70% fewer emissions than the average new vehicle. America Ferrera, the star of ABC’s Ugly Betty, will be one of Seacrest’s interviewees Sunday night, and EmpireCLS will chauffeur her to the Emmy’s in a BMW Hydrogen 7. The H7 is the world’s first hydrogen powered luxury sedan with a V12 engine that emits virtually nothing more than water vapor.
