Executive Car Service, Environmental Impact
EmpireCLS has always taken the ecological impact of its worldwide vehicle fleet very seriously. Several years ago, when many exciting new automotive technologies began emerging onto the world auto market, EmpireCLS began looking for ways to integrate them into its fleet. Today, the executive car service offers several hybrid and flex fuel vehicles to its clients, and more are being added each year. Using this approach, EmpireCLS will make good on a voluntary commitment to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions of its entire worldwide fleet by at least 20 percent.
EmpireCLS has implemented dozens of specific, effective and measurable ways to improve the environmental friendliness of every aspect of the company. By working with the environmental organization Green Ride Global, EmpireCLS is measuring the greenhouse gas emissions of its fleet several times each year to make sure that they're being reduced at a fast enough rate. It is also enforcing environmentally conscious driving practices across its entire staff of chauffeurs and monitoring business-related travel with waste reduction in mind.
There have even been changes to the fleet in addition to the increasing numbers of low-carbon vehicles, such as the use of nitrogen in every tire, which boosts fuel mileage. Administrative offices and garages are switching over to green and recycled products, emerging non-fossil fuels are constantly being tested for performance in our vehicles, and international executive car service companies with similar environmental goals are being added to our Global Network Partners.
And if your company or organization has also made a commitment to improving environmental consciousness, EmpireCLS can help you measure your performance. The carbon footprint of every trip is precisely tracked and communicated to the client in a detailed written report. These reports can be used to provide data for official Carbon Accounting or simply to track the shrinking environmental impact of your ground travel.
