Global Reservation Agent - LA and NJ

The global reservations team is the heart and soul of EmpireCLS. Working in a fast-paced, call-center environment at our global headquarters in Secaucus, NJ, our agents actively assist our customers with their reservation requests and ensure their ground transportation needs are met in a company that stresses teamwork, versatility and customer service.

The ideal candidate is passionate about great customer service and is a team player. He or she will also be motivated, driven, enthusiastic and responsible.


  • Assists customers by inputting reservation, change, and cancellation information via telephone, fax, web and email in a time-sensitive environment, where accuracy and professionalism are first and foremost
  • Attends to all aspects of customer service and support in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
  • Communicates with customers and team members in a professional manner
  • Meets or exceeds base call center productivity and quality standards
  • Handles customer complaints and inquiries in a professional manner
  • Inputs reservation information on customized computer reservation system
  • Contacts customers to advise of changes, to cancel or to confirm reservations
  • Maintains current or advance knowledge of status on previously booked groups and vehicle type availability
  • Interacts with clients, affiliate agencies and all levels of the organization in a professional level
  • Performs other duties as directed by the supervisor

  • Reach with hands and arms.

Required vision abilities include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

  • 1-2 years call center/customer service experience
  • Travel industry experience
  • Bilingual skills are a plus

  • Safely drives guests to/from destinations. per their reservation
  • Maintains the EmpireCLS vehicle for guest readiness at all times, including daily operator maintenance checks, cleaning interior and exterior, arranging for maintenance, and reporting operating problems
  • Pre-plans routes and requirements by studying schedule or special requests
  • Determines occupant and luggage requirements
  • Checks road conditions and estimates travel times
  • Arranges temporary and long-term parking
  • Willingly assists guests in/out of vehicle, and loads/unloads luggage
  • Operates the vehicle in a manner of safely and professionalism
  • Maintains client and information confidentiality at all times
  • Documents actions, and maintains travel logs and maintenance records
  • Reports accidents or vehicle damage immediately to management
  • Increases job knowledge by participating in education opportunities
  • Maintains and effectively communicates trip billing charges

  • 9+ years of driving experience.
  • Enthusiastic, positive attitude and team player
  • Outstanding communication/customer service skills, written and verbal
  • Dependable and detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills

  • Daily maintenance of vehicle
  • Clean driving record and can pass background checks and drug screenings
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Favorable driving record as per Insurance Industry Standards
  • Proficiency in safety management
  • Excellent map interpretation skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, trip instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of organization, using clear and concise English
  • Ability to compute basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Computer skills and knowledge of interactive pager


  • Previous chauffeur experience
  • NJ Chauffeurs: Working knowledge of driving routes and geographical locations in NJ. (In/around New York, New Jersey and Connecticut).
  • LA Chauffeurs: Working knowledge of driving routes and geographical locations in LA. (In/around Los Angeles and surrounding areas)
